The Difference Between Mental Health Counseling and Life Coaching

Mental health counseling focuses on addressing mental health concerns and emotional well-being, while life coaching focuses on personal growth, goal setting, and achieving desired outcomes.

The Process for Mental Health Counseling

The healing process is tailored to your needs.  We identify your goals, and then we put together a plan to achieve them.  Healing and growing involves everything from walking through past wounds to identifying solutions in the current moment to developing better ways of thinking and feeling.  I go out of my way to understand what your story has been, and then we begin to prepare you to write all of the future chapters.

The Process for Life Coaching

The process is tailed to your needs. We identify your goals, and establish a customized plan for your personal growth that is geared toward achieving your desired outcomes. Then, we embark on a journey of achievement.

Mission

For all faith-based clients, the Mission is to help people to heal themselves in Christ through Mary.  There is no neutral state in the spiritual life and no neutral state in healing.  One is either growing closer to Christ and healing more, or one is moving farther away.  We are dedicated, as instruments of God, to assisting others with healing in positive ways.

For all non-faith based clients, the Mission is to be an instrument of healing.  We want to help everyone become the best version of themselves.
