The Feminine Genius: Unlocking True Wealth with Your Wife

I’m going to give you the key to becoming the wealthiest man in the world. But first, I’m going to talk about wives. Our society doesn’t place much value on them. Why marry in the first place? Aren’t they just a burden? Can’t you enjoy all the benefits of a relationship by serial dating and never marrying? In the Old Testament, Moses is a man on the run with no sense of direction until he meets his wife, Zipporah. She helps him find God, and that’s when he understands that God is calling him to be a great leader. Michelle—David’s wife—offers him wisdom that helps him rise to prominence. Then she saves his life by protecting him from her father. Finally, when David was king, Michelle helped him unify the entire kingdom. Both of these women find their fulfillment in Mary, who brings Christ himself to St. Joseph. I used to buy into modern thinking. I wasn’t motivated to get married. I would say what a lot of guys would say: “I’m open to it.” And I discovered what the single life was like. It was awful. I was bored and unmotivated. By the time I met my wife, my bachelor pad was a dive, and I mostly cooked for myself in my microwave. I know—I know it’s not cooking. I was just heating stuff up, but I called it cooking. My wife brought me what every good wife brings her husband: the feminine genius. She is receptive, sensitive, generous, and maternal. She has almost died multiple times to bring me children. Daily, she sacrifices for our children and me. She blesses me with wisdom, and she provides the stable environment I need to be successful as a man. My life didn’t begin until I got married. And it really didn’t begin until I had children. That’s how you become the wealthiest man in the world. You find a great wife. No, she won’t necessarily bring you money, but a good wife will bring you respect, purpose, confidence, wisdom, and the strength of God himself. If that doesn’t make a man the wealthiest man in the world, I don’t know what does. You can take it from me. I’m no genius, but I married a woman who is.
